Arranging objects in InDesign

(Index)

Within each layer on your page, objects are arranged almost in layers themselves. Even though you cannot see a list of the objects on your page, you can guess where they are based on how your objects overlap. For example, if you have two squares overlapping, one of them will have a section cut out, and the other will be full. The one that's full is the one on top.

You can modify which objects are on top others.

  1. Click on the arrow tool .
  2. Select one or more objects.
  3. You have four places you can send the objects, and they are all in the menus. They do exactly as they say.
  4. Done!
