Documents in InDesign

Documents are what you use to create your works of art in InDesign. They consist of a window that shows a graphical representation of what your page will look like.

To create a new document:

  1. In the menus, choose File -> New -> Document.
  2. You will then see a window that combines the Document Setup window and the Margins and Columns window. Use this window to set the dimensions of your page.
  3. Click OK.

    4. Done!
