Pasting (clipboard) in InDesign

If you have something on the clipboard from preforming a cut or copy, you can paste it on a document. InDesign provides three different methods for pasting objects, and they are all in the menus.

• Edit -> Paste
  Pastes the contents of the clipboard in the center of the screen.
  
• Edit -> Paste Into
  Pastes the contents of the clipboard into the selected object.
  
• Edit -> Paste in Place
  Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the same X-Y coordinates of the original.
