Paragraph and Character Palette in InDesign

The Paragraph and Character palettes are used to modify basic properties of text.
Changes on the Character palette are reflected in selected text. Changes on the Paragraph palette are reflected in every paragraph that at least has the cursor or some highlighted text.
If you have a text box Select with the arrow tool, then character and paragraph changes apply to the entire text box.
