Skewing Frames and Paths in InDesign

There are two basic ways to skew frames and paths in InDesign.

• This is the moderately crazy method of skewing:
1. Select the direct selection tool .
2. Select your object.
3. Drag individual anchors and have fun!
4. Don't forget that you can add and remove anchors in paths and frames.

Done!

• This is the totally crazy method of skewing:
1. Select the convert direction tool .
2. Hold command to temporarily switch to the direct selection tool , and select your object.
3. Use the convert direction tool to skew the lines connecting anchors. In case you were wondering, this is how you can convert a rectangle to an ellipse.
