  2. Click on the type on the path tool .
  3. Move the mouse to the vicinity of your path, where you would like your text to start. Move the mouse across your path until the cursor changes from to . When the cursor changes, click.
  4. Type your text just like a normal text box. The text box you just created and are typing in is not that different from a normal text box. You can continue the text in another text box, and you can set another text box to continue in the box you just made on the path.

To change the start or end of where your text box is located on your path...

  1. Select on the arrow tool .
  2. Select the frame containing your path and the text box on the path.
  3. Locate the beginning and the end of the text box on the path. It is marked by a line perpendicular to the path at that point and with a square on the text side of the line.
  4. Click and drag the line marking the beginning or end of your text box on the frame to the new location. It is easiest to click somewhere other than the middle of the line; away from the little square - either up or down; doesn't matter.
