Downloading Camera Pictures

Downloading pictures from a camera is much easier than it sounds. There is a program that does it for you that comes with all Macintoshes called Image Capture.

1. Connect your camera to the computer.
2. Launch Image Capture if it doesn't do so automatically. If it's not in the Dock, then you can find it in the Applications folder.
3. The section for downloading the pictures is pretty self explanatory. Just observe the program and use your brain.
4. Don't forget to eject the camera before you unplug it.

Done!

The only thing to really keep in mind while doing this is whether or not you want to delete the pictures from the camera after they're downloaded. If you press the "Options" button, a window will come up that has a checkbox for removing pictures from the camera after they're downloaded.
