Cutouts in Photoshop

Making a cutout in InDesign is the process of getting rid of the background of an image.

There are a few ways to do it, however this is the least error-prone.

  1. Open your document.
  2. Select what you want.
  3. In the menus, choose Edit -> Copy.
  4. In the menus, choose File -> New.
  5. Make sure that "Preset" is set to "Clipboard"
  6. Make sure that "Background Contents" is set to "Transparent"
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the menus, choose "Edit -> Paste"

    9. Done!
